4. Open a can of gel stain and using a stick, stir it thoroughly and evenly mixing it. In application process use a natural-bristle paintbrush, paint from top to bottom evenly.
5. Mix and stir after the second or third time you dip your brush in the can to make sure of even application. Let it dry for at least 6 hours or depending on manufacturer’s instruction.
6. Apply urethane Varnish after the gel stain application. Usually it will take 4 to 12 hours to dry.
7. After all the parts and door surface were stained you can reinstall the hardware that you had set aside. Then remove tapes that or plastic used, finally hang the door.
